On Our Way

Jim

Up at 5:00 for a quick breakfast and coffee, take out the garbage, and start the dishwasher. We all received an email from Air Canada telling us our flight from Montreal to St. John’s had been cancelled! Great start! But then another email indicated that our flight number has changed, but still departs at the same time. Phew! The van arrived at 5:45 and we got everything loaded and made our way to Logan arriving about 7:45. Got through security and at the gate by 8:20. Now we wait for our 10:00 boarding time. As the boarding time approached Diane realized she has lost her boarding pass! She got a replacement from the gate desk without issue. First day and already two problems averted. Our two flights (Boston to Montreal and Montreal to St. Johns) went without any drama, we rented our van and drove to our “house” on Hipditch Hill where we had a slight issue parking the Chrysler Pacifica on an incredibly steep hill, but we made it. After a brief rest we headed out to dinner at the Vu restaurant which looks out over the harbor. We had a very nice dinner which included cod tongues!

Cod tongues – very tasty!
