Even though the trip is only a week, it’s still a challenge to pick and choose for the variety of activities, temperatures, and comfort. Even teenage boys have to make good choices!!
We got on the road about 2:00 and got into Toronto in time to check-in – almost didn’t have a second room but Rachel stayed at the desk until they saw the light: luggage to our rooms and back down for a nice dinner – I ordered a portobello mushroom sandwich but asked for a change in the bread – somehow that threw the waitress and I got a very nice grilled chicken sandwich instead but … it was decided our motto for the trip would be ” Be flexible and roll with it!” Back to the room to fill out our waivers for rafting tomorrow and play some euchre – tied 1-1. Off to get ready for bed since we have to be up and in the lobby by 4:00 a.m. to catch the airport shuttle – Flight starts boarding at 6:30 and takes off by 7:15. App for Westjet downloaded, checked in, even checked our bags online, chose seats and boarding passes achieved. Barring sleeping through the alarm, we are ready to go!
